Examples are all forms of securitisations, credit linked securities, structured preference shares or other securities, structured bond funds and other cashflow driven transactions (e.g. project finance). This criteria report describes the overall rating process for structured finance transactions rated by GCR. The criteria are complemented by asset class specific criteria.

Global Consumer ABS Rating Criteria[click here to download pdf]

This criteria report describes the rating approach for transactions where consumer assets are securitised. The report applies to a wide variety of asset classes with fixed repayment profiles such as car loans, equipment leases and personal loans. The rating approach covers, amongst others, an analysis of expected defaults, delinquencies, recoveries, prepayments and asset yield; supplemented by a cashflow analysis.

This criteria report describes the rating approach for transactions where trade receivables are securitised. GCR’s credit enhancement tests cover analysis of expected losses, dilutions and carrying costs.
